The Irish Network Colorado and Denver Gaels GAA team invite you to participate in their First Annual No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament. The night will include some good-natured gambling, entertaining conversation and ol’ fashioned social interaction. Guests will have the opportunity to sit side-by-side and play against scheduled non-celebrities including Greg “the Sandman” Phelan of the Denver Gaels’ Hurling team; Publican and all around good guy, Noel Hickey and some guy named Seamus.
Benefiting Denver Active 2030 Children’s Foundation, the tournament promises to be a great time. Denver Active is a philanthropic fundraising organization dedicated to raising money to help at-risk and disadvantaged children in the Denver area and throughout Colorado. Through numerous fundraising events and with the assistance of their partners, they are able to grant out close to $1,000,000 to over 50 children’s charities each and every year.
The INCO/Gaels Charity Poker Tournament is a No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em tournament. With your donation of $50, you will receive one distribution of chips. As the evening progresses, there will be an opportunity for each player to donate one additional time to receive one more distribution of chips.
Non-monetary prizes will be awarded to the top performers at the tournament. We have already confirmed the following prizes for the 2013 INCO/Gaels Charity Poker Tournament:
