TEACHING BURIED HISTORY at Leadville’s Evergreen Cemetery: A Social Studies and History Lesson Plan from the Molly Brown House Museum
In Evergreen Cemetery’s Catholic Free Section, there are hundreds of unmarked graves or graves with small, wooden grave markers. These are the people now named through the Leadville Irish Miners’ Memorial.
