And so it flows - 2023 welcomes in a new INCO board.

Lisa Switzer, President, has been involved with INCO for 11 years and been a member of the Board for most of that time. She has served as secretary, Vice President and President (two terms) and has been the point person for grants INCO has received from the Irish Government for the Leadville Miners’ Memorial.  As an Irish-American whose family hailed from County Limerick (Rathkeale), she is very committed to promoting Irish and Irish-American cultural interests.

Professionally, Lisa is the CEO of a cancer research organization headquartered in Denver. In her free time, Lisa sings in traditional Irish sessions, does photography, and spends time with her son, Ian, and her Black Cat, Percy.

Tess Julian (formerly Tess Kent), is currently serving as Vice President of INCO for her second term. She has enjoyed working with the board and members of INCO over the past 12 years.

Tess spent her childhood in Sligo in the West of Ireland. She emigrated to the US to pursue a business degree and worked in the healthcare space in corporate roles over the past 20 years. She currently owns a business and consults in the healthcare insurance market.

She especially enjoys her work with the Irish Miners’ Memorial. Her passion for the memorial is a deeply personal one. Her father’s roots are in West Cork and Tess has fond childhood memories of many Summers spent in that part of Ireland.

In her free time, Tess enjoys biking and skiing with her husband and friends. She is passionate about travel, other cultures and other cuisine.

Andrea Malcomb is Director at Historic Denver’s Molly Brown House Museum. Under her leadership, the museum has elevated its public history impact through programs and interpretation that prompt audiences to explore a woman-centered dynamic between past and present. Malcomb has also ensured the historic house will stand for another century with the recent completion of $1million+ in capitol restoration and the addition of accessible programming spaces. She currently sits on the board of the National Collaborative for Women’s History Sites and is in a second term on the Historic House Museums Committee of the American Association for State and Local History. Malcomb also volunteers with the League of Women Voters. She enjoys watching TikTok videos with her 13-year-old son, doing DIY projects with her partner, reading, and championing for women’s rights.

Dermot Healy, originally from Mountbellew, Co. Galway, Ireland Dermot has been in the US for over 25 years–15 in Western New York (Rochester) and since 2010 has been in the Denver Metro Area. He has primarily worked in the quality assurance field for semiconductor, aerospace hardware and medical device component manufacturers, both US based and Multinationals. He is quite familiar with international trade. Dermot currently works for UFP Technologies as the Quality Assurance Manager.

Dermot holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) Degree from the University of Huddersfield (England) and has also attained undergraduate qualifications in Industrial Engineering (Atlantic Technological University – Galway) and Quality Control (Atlantic Technological University – Sligo).

He loves to travel and frequently returns to Ireland to visit with family and friends; he has numerous business connections in Ireland, Europe and the US. He has been an active Board Member of INCO since 2014. He is also heavily involved in the American Society for Quality, reaching the role of Rochester (New York) Section Chair. Dermot holds dual citizenship with the United States and Ireland and has proudly voted in every US election since being naturalized in 2000.  e maintains a keen interest in Irish & European Business and Politics. He has a great love for the Irish language & culture and have presented at numerous Irish Festivals, as well as teaching Irish Language Classes.

Dermot is happily married to Kristy and has two wonderful boys, Patrick and Conor.
